Faith performing a wall run

Parkour refers to the mode of transportation in which the aim is to get from point A to point B in the most efficient way possible. Runners determine their path of travel throughout the city and then, by combining various strings of movements and motions, as well as overcoming urban barriers posed by the city, attempt to reach their destination as fast and efficiently as possible, often taking alternate paths to avoid obstacles altogether. Motion flow and control are paramount to efficiently utilizing parkour; therefore, parkour is also referred to simply as "the art of moving efficiently".

  • Oddly enough, parkour is often abbreviated as "PK", the common abbreviation of Pirandello Kruger.
