Overview
The Barrett M95 is a .50 caliber sniper rifle held by PK snipers. It is the most powerful weapon in the game. It can kill any enemy in the game with a single round even if they are scripted not to die and for Faith, it takes 2 in normal mode.
Unlike the other weapons in the game, the sniper rifle has no crosshair/reticle and if the player tries to fire the weapon without using the scope, the weapon shoots in an unpredictable manner, therefore it forces the player to use the scope attached on the rifle to aim.
Faith uses an M95 in an attempt to stop Kate's convoy in Chapter 8 by shooting out CPF van's engine.
Trivia
- When held by the snipers, the weapon has a visible laser which helps the player avoid the fire. The actual model however has no laser sight attached and the laser could just be Faith's runner vision.
